Y2K
We are pleased to announce that as of June 18, 1999 the last of our critical systems have been identified and reprogrammed where necessary. We feel strongly that there shall be no interruption of service and/or time-sensitive procedures due to Y2K anomalies.
Hardware we perceived to be at risk were as follows: Phones, faxes, copiers, printers, scanners, PC's, modems, and data storage devices.
Software we perceived to be at risk were as follows: Accounting systems (payables and receivables), databases, maintenance systems, networks, directories and data storage media.
General Procedures: Identified all program logic that relies on date calculations and comparisons. All stored data converted to appropriate 4-digit year/century recognition. Requirements that all future data-entry forms contain failsafe request for 4-digit year entry. Employee training in new date style entry methods. All future upgrades of hardware and/or software to be prequalified as Y2K compliant. We appreciate your concern and thank you for your efforts to avoid any problematic fallout from the Y2K changeover. We would also like to take this opportunity to wish you a happy and successful NEW MILLENNIUM!
